Geography
Slovakia is located in the eastern part of Central Europe. It borders Poland in the north, Ukraine in the east, Hungary in the south, Austria in the south-west and Czech Republic in the north-west. 
Climate
Climate in Slovakia is continental with relatively warm summers and cold, cloudy and humid winters.
Although Slovakia is not a large country, the weather can be quite different in the montainous North and in the plain South.
